Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, officially opened the celebration. - The state administration hopes that by holding this event, it will encourage additional farmers to produce millets in addition to honoring the innovative farmers.
- Additionally, it will raise awareness on millets crops’ production, consumption, marketing, export, etc.
- Farmers from several divisions would also receive training for producing Shree Anna during this event.
- Certificates for seed money will be provided to 35 FPOs in the state millets workshop.
- Each FPO would receive Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister per unit.
- Additionally, government institutes establishing millet-based processing plants will receive grant funding.
