- Recently Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana has been launched by the Government of Assam.
- The benefit of Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana will be provided to the state government employees, retired government employees and their dependents.
- Under this scheme, a total medical coverage of Rs 5 lakh will be provided to retired employees and currently serving Assam employees.
- Under this, treatment under this scheme will also be made cashless in major hospitals across the country.
- Citizens will get financial health coverage per family on priority basis.
