The number of fatalities from traffic accidents was recently disclosed by the Union Ministry of Transport and Highways.
These numbers show that Uttar Pradesh leads the nation in traffic accident-related fatalities.
In Uttar Pradesh, traffic accidents claimed the lives of 22595 persons in 2022.
In terms of road accident fatalities, Maharashtra comes in third and Tamil Nadu in second place.
When it comes to accidents on national highways, Tamil Nadu comes in #1.
Uttar Pradesh comes in third, followed by Kerala in second position.
In terms of all traffic accidents, Tamil Nadu is ranked first as well.
According to data given based on cities, Delhi has had the greatest number of road accident deaths.
Bengaluru comes in second place in this context.
