- The reason for celebrating this day is to make all the necessary changes to increase and promote cotton production.
- Along with this, work is also done to provide facilities for the technologies required for its production and to improve the condition of the workers engaged in the cotton business.
- India’s Central Cotton Research Institute is located in Nagpur.
