- On November 1, the Indian Prime Minister and Bangladesh Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, jointly launched three projects.
- These three projects were built with India’s assistance.
- Akhaura-Agartala Cross-Border Rail Link, Khulna-Mongla Port Rail Line, and Maitri Super Thermal Power Plant Unit II are among these projects.
- The Akhaura-Agartala cross-border rail link is 15 kilometers long in total.
5 kilometers are in India, and 10 kilometers are in Bangladesh. - This will make it easier to go to Agartala and Kolkata via Dhaka.
- The Khulna-Mongla Port Rail Line Project connects Bangladesh’s Mongla Port.
- In the year 2010, India provided a loan for this project.
- The Maitri Super Thermal Power Project began in 2017.
