Recently the Central Government has approved 13 GW renewable energy production in Ladakh under the Green Energy Corridor Project.

The Union Territory of Ladakh’s 13 GW renewable energy generation was recently approved by the Union Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
The Green Energy Corridor Project’s second phase has granted this approval.
The Ladakh project is scheduled to be finished in 2029–2030.
This project will set you back Rs 20770 crore.
Forty percent of the project’s overall cost will be borne by the Central Government.
It will be Power Grid Corporation of India Limited that completes this project.

Recently Rajendra Menon has been appointed as the Chairman of the Armed Forces Tribunal.
